Labor Day Weekend 2009

We had a great productive Labor day weekend this year. We bought the playground for the girls, ate at Rainforest Cafe "the monkey restaurant" as the girls say. We also had a great day with our neighbor friends. The kids all played in the drive way, ate lunch had a treat and swam. Cate went down the slide all by herself. What a big girl. Caroline would go up one step and say, all done! We have fantastic neighbors and always have a great time with them.
Chris also cleaned out the garage. We were trying to make room for a freezer, but we have some electrical work to do before that happens. He still organized and made it a little easier for me to get to my car. What a great man.

New Play Ground

We are so excited to be playing outside now. So many things to do now. Summer we have the pool, which was so much fun this year with their new bathing suits that let them swim by themselves. Now today we had a new playground installed. The girls are loving it; so are we!!! The weather is making it that much better. Not having 105 temps makes life enjoyable again.

I love making memories!

New School Year

Their second year at MDO has started off great. They are going three days a week; thuesday, thursday and friday's. They love school and look forward to going. They are still taking naps, so carrying all their belongings is still a chore. It's like they are spending the nighgt at Nana's three nights a week.

They are cracking us up everyday with the things that they say. One time in the car after we met my mom for dinner; Caroline started yelling CHRIS. Cate said. Who's Chris. Caroline: Chris, Cate: Who's Chris? Chris: I'm Daddy!!!! It was pretty funny.

I can't believe that they are going to the 3 in just a few months. Time really has flown by.

Just Stuff

I have not been very good about keeping this updated. When I first started this, we were home a lot and I have time. The stuff came up, they are in MDO, we did gymnastics, which we are not doing anymore. I go to StrollerFit everyday, MOPS. Just stuff that keeps me very busy. I am also on Face book, which consumes my night time. I love being about to keep up with people that I have not seen or spoken to in decades. The girls are great. Christmas was fun and will be even more fun next year and the years to come. They are talking better and just giggle and play. It has been so cold this winter we are looking forward to Spring so we can get out and go to the park more. We LOVE the park. They play after Strollerfit and to see how that have grown over the year. They were crawling around this time last year to being able to play by themselves on a big play structure. YAY INDEPENDENCE!!! Here are a few pictures over the last few months.

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY BABY GIRLS!

I can't believe that 2 years have passed. These two precious angels are the light in my life. Being able to stay at home with them is the best thing in the world. I would not change it for anything. I get to see so many things everyday that are new to them. I am there when they open their mouth wide(just like me) about something exciting. To hear Mama all day long, oh I love it. Having conversations with them, even though it is really jibber jabber is so wonderful because they know what they are saying.

On with their birthday party. Candy Land!!!! What a fun party it was. The girls had fun. Cate did have some temper tantrums, but Aunt Rozzie fixed everything. Caroline was loving it. They jumped in the moonwalk for about 2 minutes then played at the park. Ate pizza and cake, who doesn't like that. They played with their friends. All had a good time.

On their actual birthday on the 12th, we had cookies at StrollerFit with our friends. Then we went to the mall with Aunt Gina and Nathan to take pictures with Santa. That is our tradition. Pictures with Santa on their birthday. They played at the Castle with Nathan and were worn out for a good nap. They they had more cookies after dinner. Fun times!

Happy Birthday babies! We love you.

Two 2's in Tutu's

How cute are they??!! Cate wanted to wear it like a dress; she kept pulling it up . Caroline wouldn't even put it on until she saw Cate wearing it. She couldn't wait to twirl around in it. She would have probably played soccer in it too. I love my girls!
